The Position
Vacpac are currently seeking an Electrician to join our growing team of Service Technicians.Attributes
- Experience in maintenance/repair work
- Experience in the food manufacturing and processing industry (highly regarded)
- Thorough understanding of electrical testing and fault finding on low and extra low voltage equipment
- A sound understanding of AC motors and with mechanical fitting ability to repair and replace gearboxes, bearing, seals, shafts, and conveyors
- Proficiency in problem solving, fault finding and diagnostics
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team
- Strong commitment to safe work practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Efficient management of time and resources
- Strictly non-smoker (due to food safe work environments)
Requirements
- Current Electrical Trade Certificate
- Current QLD Open C Class Drivers Licence
- Availability to work overtime during the week and weekends
